SIGMA KOKI P/ OPTO SIGMA RECISION LABJACK 27mm VETICAL TRAVEL Z AXIS
Very nice condition.
Small bumps and scratches. Mounting surfaces are free of defects that will affect operation.
Operates very smoothly.
This stage has black chrome plated steel top and bottom plates. The smaller is 80 x 132mm, the larger is 80 x 160mm. Either could be used as the top or the bottom. Depen
ding on your needs.
The bottom has through holes for breadboard mounting. The top has smaller threaded holes that may be more useful for mounting your accessories.
Travel with a 12mm x 1.0mm
pitch leadscrew is rated at 22mm and this is the Sigma Koki data sheet graphs reflect this.
In practice the travel is closer to 27mm. I think (but I haven't tried to verify) that its rated conservatively because travel becomes too non-linear near the extremes.
The has backlash that would concern me if it where a motorized stage but, since it's manual it's very easy to correct. Backlash isn't specified on the data sheet.
Maximum height is 87.5mm, minimum is 60mm. The length including the knob, is 179mm fully lowered, and 191mm fully elevated.
The small plate has a 3 x 3 array of tapped M4 holes on 25mm centers. The array is centered on the plate.
The large plate has a 2 x 2 array of M4 through holes on 50mm centers. This array is centered on the plate.
The large plate has a 2 x 2 array of thread M6x1 holes on 60mm x 140mm centers (in the corners of the plate).
The large plate also has 4 7mm through holes, one centered on each side of the plate and 10mm from the edge.
Plenty of options for mounting your equipment and since the plates are steel you can also use a magnetic clamp.
Knob diameter is 48mm. The up / down label was probably applied by a user.
The load rating is 20kG (about 44 pounds).
Net weight: 5.1 pounds
The datasheet, available on-line, indicates that screws, a hex wrench, and a stage lock are standard equipment but NONE of these are available for this stage.
